Acrobatics: This class teaches students fundamental acrobatic moves that are performed on gym mats. This class is strictly floor work that includes moves such as front & back rolls, headstands, backbends, cartwheels, walkovers, back handsprings, etc. Students learn flexibility and strength while acquiring valuable skills that can be used in other disciplines.

Tap/Ballet: This combination class is a great way for students to experience two different types of dance in a one-hour class. Students will learn both tap and ballet skills through imagination activities and movement games. Dancers will enjoy learning basic ballet and tap terminology along with fun and engaging games. More Difficult patterns and steps are introduced as the student progresses to more advanced levels of this class.

Tap: These classes teach rhythm, coordination, basic tap terminology and choreography. As students progress to higher level tap classes they will put the fundamentals to work by learning new steps, rhythms, patterns, and combinations. They advanced tap classes will focus on faster and more intricate footwork. The dancer at this level will develop speed, clarity, dynamics, and the ability to execute to complex rhythmic combinations.

Ballet: Ballet classes focus on building strength, poise, proper body alignment, turnout, and extension in an expressive atmosphere. Ballet is the basis of all dance disciplines. Centre Stage also offers Pointe.

Jazz: Jazz is a fun type of movement suitable for all ages. Ballet background is helpful but not a must. Generally, jazz dance which covers many varieties is performed to jazz music- often up beat.

Hip Hop: Hip Hop has a very urban flavor- not as structured as a more traditional dance style(like ballet). Centre Stage stresses the importance of keeping their hip hop movement and music age appropriate.

Modern: Modern dance originated from the early 1900s- a rebellion against ballet. Now, the modern crave has become extremely versatile, branching out into what is currently called "Contemporary."

Technique: Technique class is a non recital-based class which places focus on improvement of the dancer's flexibility, turns, leaps, and knowledge of terminology.

Barre Method: Barre workouts are a total body workout that use a combination of ballet, yoga, pilates and dance to help reshape your body. You will build lean muscle mass, increase flexibility, increase and improve balance, and improve posture without bulking so you can achieve weight loss and lean body.

Musical Theatre: These upbeat classes teach Broadway-style choreography, show-stopping stage presence, and acting, with a focus on learning song-and-dance numbers from a variety of musical productions, past and present. Centre Stage strives to put their concepts on stage when possible, making the experience fun for students of all ages.

Stress Release Class: Class designed to meet your needs. Incorporates breathing exercises along with movement to lower mental and muscular stress. Designed for teens and adults.

All Male Technique Class: This class is an ideal setting for those more serious-minded male performers. Includes terminology and movement beneficial for audition purposes. Male teens/adults only.
